Oval Coffee Table

60” wide - 30” deep - 17” tall

      The top of this table is made from the trunk of a tree which was grafted together in my client’s vineyard near Geyserville, Ca.. The graft line shows across the center; the darker side is black walnut and the lighter side is English walnut. The curved parts were laminated in a mold from thin strips; first they were steamed and placed in the mold while hot, then they were removed, dried, and glued together in the same mold.
