Pedestal Table
40 .5” wide - 4l.5” long - 30 ” tall

      This table is made from California Walnut and eastern Black Cherry. It expands to a total of 65” long with the addition of the two ll-3/4” wide leaves. All of the walnut is solid stock, the pedestal is assembled with mortise and tenon joints, run all the way through the legs and wedged.

      The curly Cherry veneer was cut on the bandsaw in the shop to 3/16” and then sanded to 1/8” before gluing onto the core stock. The core is 3/4” Medium Density Fiberboard.

      The table is finished with three coats of polyurethane varnish, sanded and rubbed out with #0000 steel wool.
