This timber deck truss bridge is made from salvaged vertical grain old growth redwood in 1:48 scale. The length between the outside of the shoes is 24-1/2 inches; the upper stringers are 30 inches long and can be trimmed as needed to meet the track support at the ends of the bridge. The bridge is 5-1/2 inches wide and 4 inches tall overall. The tie rods are piano wire and the nut/bolt/waster castings are made by Grandt Line.

       This photo shows one end of the bridge supported by closely spaced bents. The lower one is under the shoes and supports the bridge as a whole and the taller one carries the weight of the stringers.
